The North Quarter market, located at the base of NORA, is an inviting space home to several businesses - including ours! Grab a cup of your favorite coffee drink at CREDO coffee before settling down with your new favorite book.
It starts with a book and a cup of coffee.
Alex and Andrea met in 2014 as college students. Quickly they found themselves spending their time perusing the aisles of their local Books-a-Million while sipping on lattes. What was once a way to spend an afternoon soon became a full-blown hobby. After spending years visiting coffee shops and bookstores in every new city they visited, they decided it was time to bring their favorite pastime to downtown Orlando. Alex and Andrea have partnered up with Downtown Credo to make their dreams a reality. They bring the coffee, and we bring the books.
Hi, I’m Alex.
I’m a local poet and book critic currently getting an MFA in Creative Writing. When I’m not at UCF or barista-ing at CREDO, you can find me playing chess with the Orlando Chess Club and Development Center, a local 501(c)(3) focused on building community through chess. I love coffee and books about family, art, and the end of the world. I’m fascinated by chapbooks, zines, and any little book that can fit in my pocket.
Hello! I’m Andrea.
I’m a landscape architect at a local engineering firm who spends most of her days designing public and private spaces and creating public participation experiences throughout Florida. I love nature, community, and design. My favorite kind of reading involves curling up with a character-driven contemporary novel involving magical realism and an interesting setting.
